John Savage is the founder of the MN Paranormal Investigators (1997). He has been trained by Echo Bodine for ghost busting and uses the following abilities in his cases: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, and Clairsentience. At times, John has performed channeling and acted as a medium. He also does some remote viewing. John uses a very logical approach when it comes to investigating a location that is presumed haunted; he looks for a “normal” explanation before jumping to the paranormal realm. John's work is referenced in a book called “Haunted Minnesota,” which depicts a few of the team's cases.

Lori Bogren is John's second. Six years (and counting) as professional Tarot Reader have honed her psychic skills. As a result she has become the groups psychic trainer and also teaches private classes. She considers herself a ”seeker of knowledge“ who continues to learn and expand her talents. As a result, her eclectic mixture of spiritual studies in Shamanism, European Spiritualism, and Feng Shui helped to broaden her Lutheran upbringing, giving her a greater perspective of what's out there. She became interested in investigation after meeting John and listening to some of his experiences. On the mundane side she handles the investigation request intake process and manages the web site. Lori is also a member of the American Ghost Society. Contact Lori if you have questions, comments or suggestions for the web site. |

Scott Nadeau has been interested in ghosts, spirits, the paranormal and haunted houses from a very young age. He has a very open mind when it comes to the paranormal. His job with the group is on the technical side - spirit photography, digital still and digital video, infrared video and night vision video and 35 mm EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena). He came in to the group to find out more of what's on the other side.

Anita Savage recently moved from England to Minnesota with son, Michael, and daughter, Scarlet, to be with her new husband, John (above) and has been interested in the paranormal for as long as she can remember. Her talents started with clairaudience, but expanded as her mediumship abilities increased. She is on a learning journey and believes there is always something new to learn saying, “I believe the spirit world holds a great deal of information just waiting for us to be ready to accept and learn.” |

Karen Skaja has always been interested in the paranormal, after enough brushes with the other side she decided to take charge. She studied with Echo Bodine for several years and continued to build on what she learned by working with other, small psychic groups and participating in select ghost busting ventures. She earned a hypnotherapist certificate to learn more about the mind and has read extensively on topics like quantum physics, ancient cultures, and various topics having to do with consciousness and energies. It is her psychic abilities that come to the fore within the group as she believes ghosts are just people without a body who hang out on the earth plane with people who do have bodies. She sees this as a sign they need help to guide them to a more suitable, healing place and reunite with loved ones who have already crossed over.

Chad Mitchell has been studying the paranormal for over 20 years. His interest in Eastern Spirituality and meditation, lead him to become a Reiki Healer and develop some psychic ability. An interest in ghosts and the other side eventually lead him to MNPI so he could continue to study and research this phenomenon and find answers to the unexplained events that have happened. “I would also like to help others with there unexplained events by showing them they are not insane and that they not alone.” Besides doing some the light-lifting in the psychic area, he helps with equipment setup and site documentation.

Cindy Berquist is interested in learning more about her psychic side--but in baby steps starting with dowsing rods and pendulums to communicate with the unseen. Raised Lutheran she expanded those beliefs for the better with what she has learned about the world. As a result she comes to the group with normal experiences one gathers as they grow up and start a family, but no history of being haunted. With a great passion to help others, and desire to learn more about all things paranormal, she hopes to help others understand that they are not alone and have the inner-strength they need to cope with the unknown as well as gather scientific evidence to back up their beliefs along with finding natural causes for events.
