John Savage is the founder of the MN Paranormal Investigators (1994). He has been trained by Echo Bodine for ghost busting and uses the following abilities in his cases: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, and Clairsentience. At times, John has performed channeling and acted as a medium. He also does some remote viewing. John uses a very logical approach when it comes to investigating a location that is presumed haunted; he looks for a “normal” explanation before jumping to the paranormal realm. John's work is referenced in a book called “Haunted Minnesota,” which depicts a few of the team's cases. Quote: “We came, we saw, we kicked it's ass.”

Lori Bogren is one of the group's psychics, trainers and team wranglers. After meeting John and listening to some of his experiences, she just had to get involved. A professional Tarot Reader since 2004, she occasionally teaches private psychic/tarot classes. She enjoys working with the clients to help them understand what may be happening in their home or business by explaining the more esoteric side of “ghost hunting” as well as the technical side. More mundanely she manages the web site. Lori is also a member of the American Ghost Society. Quote: “The dead had their chance.” ~Lori Bogren Contact Lori if you have questions, comments or suggestions for the web site. |

Scott Nadeau has been interested in ghosts, spirits, the paranormal and haunted houses from a very young age. He has a very open mind when it comes to the paranormal. His job with the group is on the technical side - spirit photography, digital still and digital video, infrared video and night vision video and 35 mm EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena). He came in to the group to find out more of what's on the other side. Quote: Then John murmured, “I can't feel my legs, go get Lori.”

Deb Sutton was also brought into the team through her very own hauntings. Her town home was invaded by nasty ghosts that were actually witnessed by guests. This prompted her to read books and eventually contact Troy Taylor of American Ghost Society who referred her to Gina. Deb recorded the ghosts using a video recorder with night-vision and worked with the team to remove the ghosts. She does video recording, photography and communicates with ghosts using dowsing rods. |

Her talents started with clairaudience, but expanded as her mediumship abilities increased. Karen Skaja has always been interested in the paranormal, after enough brushes with the other side she decided to take charge. She studied with Echo Bodine for several years and continued to build on what she learned by working with other, small psychic groups and participating in select ghost busting ventures. She earned a hypnotherapist certificate to learn more about the mind and has read extensively on topics like quantum physics, ancient cultures, and various topics having to do with consciousness and energies. It is her psychic abilities that come to the fore within the group as she believes ghosts are just people without a body who hang out on the earth plane with people who do have bodies. She sees this as a sign they need help to guide them to a more suitable, healing place and reunite with loved ones who have already crossed over.

Cindy Bergquist is interested in learning more about her psychic side--but in baby steps starting with dowsing rods and pendulums to communicate with the unseen. Raised Lutheran she expanded those beliefs for the better with what she has learned about the world. As a result she comes to the group with normal experiences one gathers as they grow up and start a family, but no history of being haunted. With a great passion to help others, and desire to learn more about all things paranormal, she hopes to help others understand that they are not alone and have the inner-strength they need to cope with the unknown as well as gather scientific evidence to back up their beliefs along with finding natural causes for events. Quote: “The future is worth fighting for.” ~Joss Whedon (Serenity tagline)

Diana "Di" Palm is a Theta Healing Practitioner and Instructor who lives within the spiritual world everyday. She loves to explore the newest techniques and technologies to provide evidence from the invisible planes of existence. In 2004 MNPIG investigated the Haunted House she lived in. The story made front page of the St. Paul Pioneer Press as well as a chapter in Haunted Minnesota by Hugh Bishop. Her experiences in the Haunted House solidified her desire to develop and learn more about ghosts and the afterlife. The event and the members of MNPIG sparked an interest in Diana to join the dedicated team of investigators who continue to help people.
