St. Paul, MN:  Indian Mounds Park Photographs

Only a few of the 16 original mounds (some are estimated to be about 2000 years old) remain along the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River.  In the mid-1990s fences were placed around the remaining mounds to help protect and preserve them.  While there are no tombstones we associate with cemeteries this is a burial site of historical importance and should be treated with respect.  For more information check out the City of St. Paul's website.

There are no recorded or rumored events, however people with active psychic abilities do report making contact with various entities, not all of whom are Native American.  During several trips to the park our investigators did get some interesting results.

Lori's notes: Orbs can be a tricky thing. In an of themselves they can be dust or moisture, but every once in awhile something interesting happens that makes one wonder.

John is talking with the ghosts and spirits in the area before walking down a path between some of the mounds.

About two minutes later when John finishes, he leads the way down the path followed by Dawn, however an orb appears in this second photo. Dust, moisture ... an intriguing coincidence.

Note: this photo is brightness enhanced, with circles indicating the two orbs.

There was no fog and it was not snowing that night.

The lighter and longer image represents that of a horse, while the more condensed portion appears to be a person with a headdress walking along side.
