The following EVPs were taken at the Fort Ridgely state park near New Ulm, MN. We recorded about 5 hours of audio, out of which we only recorded about 4-6 min of usable recordings. Most of these were done within the fort itself, although we did several recordings outside in the field to the south of the fort.
David |
This recording was taken near the old barracks at Fort Ridgely. In this session you can hear a young male voice saying "David."
| Don't Hurt Me Class C |
This was recorded just south of the fort.
| Forgive Me Class C |
This recording was done near the main surgeon's house.
| Go Class A |
This was recorded on the main field at the fort. You can hear a young males voice saying go. We think that this is the same person who said "David."
| I Don't Want to Go Class B |
This was recorded on the east end of the barracks. You can hear a male voice saying either "I don't want to" or "I want to."
| I Will Let You Know Class A |
This was also near the barracks. You can hear a male voice say "I will let you." Again we think this is David again.
| Help Me Then Class A |
This was taken near the southern part of the fort, near the surgeons house. A woman's voice saying "Help me then." It was common during the attack of Fort Ridgely that the women helped the medical staff. Note: John had this linked to a file called "shoot me than.wav" |
|
| Thank You Class B |
The location of this EVP is unknown but it was near the fort. You can hear a female voice saying, "thank you."
| We Do Want to Go Class C |
This was taken near the north east corner of the fort. We believe they are saying " we do not want to go" but some people hear "we wont go."
| Who's There Class B |
This was taken near the officers homes at the fort. We can not make out if its a male or female voice but at the time of the recording (1130pm) and location near the south end of the fort. Its more than likely that it would have been a guard who was on duty. |
